Headaches
and Toothaches
"Tension" headaches and/or pain in the muscles of
your face can be traced back to stress on your teeth due to
clenching and/or grinding
of your teeth. Symptoms of this nature can be related to TMJ.
The good news is you don't have to continue suffering these
headaches if they are related to a dental problem.

It's
The Noise!!!
One of the major cause of discomforts when you see a dentist
is the noise you're forced to hear while the dentist treats
you. Since we are dedicated to your comfort, we provide a musical
headset to alleviate these sounds. |

Services
Family Smile Dental seeks state-of-the-art solutions to improve the quality of your care.
- We use special low dosage digital x-ray equipment, which results in the lowest dosage of radiation possible when taking our digital x-rays . This is the safest method available within the limits of the dental profession, which gives the doctor a picture within seconds, allowing her more time to examine your dental x-rays.
- We use an intraoral fiber optic video camera wand to look inside your mouth to better see intraoral areas and features in a highly magnified and illuminated manner not normally possible otherwise. This video scan is visible on a TV screen as Dr. Diaz works, and you can see the full color, live, real-time images of your teeth and other intraoral tissues.
- We offer an assortment of whitening treatments to provide you with an easy, quick, and relatively inexpensive option to help you get the smile you always wanted. You can come out with a smile that's 10 shades whiter.
- If you need to have fillings, we will offer you the option to have tooth-colored filings so that your smile will look much more natural than the common silver fillings.

Your First Visit
On your first visit, you will receive a comprehensive examination that will include a full set of x-rays, a thorough dental evaluation and documentation of your teeth and their existing restorations, and an initial dental cleaning. Dr. Diaz will examine your teeth closely to confirm health and identify any problems. When all of this is complete, Dr. Diaz will recommend a treatment plan designed especially for you. Based on the health of your gums, Dr. Diaz will recommend the need for any further cleaning procedures, as well as how often you should have checkups and cleanings. She will also recommend any need for Restorative Dentistry (the treatment of damaged, decayed or missing teeth). Finally, Dr. Diaz will discuss all of her recommendations with you and make sure that all of your questions are answered. |
